I'm not the biggest soccer fan, you know. I prefer Basketball. Or Baseball. Or Tennis. Or Hockey. Field Hockey, that is. But no soccer. But even I couldn't help but notice that the German team will play against Argentina at some kind of World Cup or so today. So I thought it would be nice to bring you some free music from Argentina with this little posterous as well. So if Germany loses its game today, you may at least find something you still like about Argentina. And if Germany wins, I'll be the last person to know. But you can already celebrate with this cute little release, while I still try to find out why everybody on the streets is honking like mad.

Leopo and Andy aka CLDSCP didn't need much to record their recent EP "Menso Freakfolk". "All" it took were some brilliant ideas for seven short songs, some musical toys, a bit of electronic sparkling here and there, and some friendly unperfect beatboxing, all wrapped up in a cuddly lo-fi garment. The result is a kind of cute Folktronica, or as Leopo and Andy put it, "Menso Freakfolk is a child album for grown ups."

So if you nurture your inner child as carefully as I do, you may find a lot of pleasure in this wonderful release. By all means, this is the perfect little soundtrack for a hot summer's day like today. Take it with you to the beach and enjoy the music and the sunshine!
