Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo is a regular contributor to the fine digital community of Escala. Producing under his moniker of 'noi' for some time, he released one exciting dj-set and an experimental Ambient live-set of his own, published back in 2006 and 2007. He also put together Escala's first (and as yet only) image gallery, presenting some interesting photography and proving a fine eye for lights, colors and spaces.

Jorge also developed a different musical project under the name of 'Stable Mechanism', in which he explores deep and dark Electronica, IDM and Ambient. After a great first live-set in 2007 and a debut ep on Escala in 2008, Jorge now returns with an awesome 6-tracker, showcasing an enormous evolution of musical structures and compositions skills. The plot: Jorge sets the stage for a 'film noire' from the 50s and puts himself into the filmmaker's shoes. Mysterious atmospheres, tight beats and dark basses provide the perfect soundtrack for a tough boiled detective story - and your own head's personal cinema.
